The Technology

What Is the ProAdjuster?

The ProAdjuster is a computerized chiropractic instrument developed by Sigma Instruments that both analyzes and adjusts the spine. Instead of manual twisting or thrusting, a handheld sensor rests lightly against each vertebra and sends a gentle, barely perceptible pulse into the joint. A piezoelectric sensor reads how the joint responds and sends that information to a computer, which displays a graph of exactly where motion is restricted.

The same sensing technology was originally developed to detect stress and fatigue in aircraft and spacecraft components. Applied to your spine, it lets Dr. Faulkenberry pinpoint problem areas objectively — and show you the results on screen before and after your adjustment.

Once a restricted segment is identified, the instrument delivers a precise, oscillating percussion to restore motion. You feel a light tapping sensation. That's it. No twisting of the neck, no popping sounds, no guesswork.

Who It's For

Perfect for Patients Who Avoid Traditional Adjustments

If fear of the "crack" has kept you away from chiropractic care, the ProAdjuster was designed for you.

Seniors & Osteoporosis

The instrument's gentle force makes it appropriate for patients with bone density concerns, arthritis, or fragile joints where forceful manual manipulation may not be suitable.

Anxious or First-Time Patients

You remain seated, upright, and relaxed the entire time. Nothing sudden happens. Many patients say it feels like a light massage tapping.

Children & Teens

Gentle, precise force scaled to smaller frames.

Post-Surgical & Sensitive Spines

For patients whose conditions make traditional manipulation uncomfortable or contraindicated, instrument adjusting offers a comfortable alternative.

The instrument delivers gentle, computer-controlled pulses to the restricted segments.
