ProBalance 360: Balance Testing & Fall-Prevention Therapy
Falls are the leading cause of injury for older adults — and balance is something you can measure, train, and improve. Our ProBalance 360 system evaluates your stability with objective data, then guides a personalized program to restore your balance, coordination, and confidence.
Why Balance Deserves a Checkup
About one in three adults over 65 falls each year, and falls are the leading cause of injury-related emergency visits among older adults. But declining balance rarely announces itself — it shows up gradually as hesitation on stairs, reaching for walls, or avoiding activities you used to love.
Balance depends on three systems working together: your inner ear, your vision, and proprioception — the position sensors in your muscles and joints. Injury, spinal dysfunction, neuropathy, and age can all degrade these signals. The good news: balance responds to training. The first step is measuring it.
How the ProBalance 360 Works
1. Baseline Evaluation
You perform a series of guided stability tests on the ProBalance platform while the system records precise measurements of your sway, weight distribution, and stability under different conditions.
2. Your Stability Function Index
The software converts your results into your Stability Function Index — a clear, objective measure of your balance — so you and Dr. Faulkenberry can see exactly where you stand, literally, and track it over time.
3. Personalized Training Plan
Based on your results, we build a therapy program combining balance-platform training, targeted exercises, and supporting care (such as Mechanical Motion Therapy or chiropractic adjustments) to strengthen the musculoskeletal system and retrain the neural pathways that control stability.
4. Re-Testing & Progress Tracking
Follow-up assessments document your improvement over time with real numbers, not guesswork.

Who Should Have Their Balance Tested?
Adults 60+
Proactive fall-risk screening, especially if you've had a fall, a near-fall, or feel less steady than you used to.
Neuropathy Patients
Peripheral neuropathy dulls the foot sensation your brain relies on for stability. Balance training is a natural companion to our neuropathy care program.
Post-Injury & Post-Surgical Patients
Ankle, knee, hip, and spine injuries disrupt proprioception long after the pain fades.
Dizziness or Unsteadiness
Objective testing helps clarify what's contributing to the problem. If your dizziness is positional vertigo, ask about the Epley Maneuver.
